This Risk Disclosure supplements our Terms of Service. Before using our Expert Advisor ("EA"), trading signals, Trading Partnership (managed account) service, or any other Botomout product, please read and understand the following risks.
You can lose some or all of the capital you trade with, in a single trade or over time. No product, Signal, or Trading Partnership offered by Botomout guarantees a profit or protects against loss. Never trade, or grant trade access to, funds you cannot afford to lose.
Forex and CFD trading is typically leveraged. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses — a relatively small adverse market move can result in a loss that significantly exceeds your initial margin, and your broker may issue a margin call or automatically close positions to limit further loss.
Prices in forex, CFD and cryptocurrency markets can move rapidly and unpredictably due to economic data, news events, liquidity conditions, or broader market sentiment. Gaps (where price jumps between levels with no trading in between) and slippage (where an order fills at a worse price than requested) can occur, particularly around high-impact news or low-liquidity periods, and can increase losses beyond what a strategy's rules alone would suggest.
Our EA executes trades based on programmed rules reacting to market conditions. Its performance can be affected by factors outside our control, including: your broker's execution quality, spreads and commissions; internet connectivity between your terminal/VPS and your broker; VPS or terminal downtime; and platform (MetaTrader) or broker-side technical issues. Built-in risk guards (such as drawdown limits) reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of loss, and may in some cases close a position at a loss to protect the account from a larger one.
Signals are informational and may be delayed or affected by connectivity or platform issues between the time an idea is generated and the time it reaches you. Acting on a Signal — including the timing and manner in which you act on it — is entirely your decision and at your own risk.
Under a Trading Partnership, trading decisions on your account are made by us, using the trade-access you grant, rather than by you directly. This means your results depend on our trading decisions and are subject to all the market, leverage and execution risks described above; delegating trade access does not reduce or eliminate these risks, and — as stated in our Terms — no specific return is ever guaranteed. You remain the owner of your brokerage account at all times, and we never take custody of, or withdrawal rights over, your funds; you may revoke trade access at any time directly through your broker or by notifying us.
If you pay, or receive a refund, in cryptocurrency: crypto asset prices can be highly volatile; blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed, so funds sent to an incorrect address generally cannot be recovered; and you are solely responsible for the security of any wallet you use to interact with us, including safeguarding your private keys/seed phrase — we never ask for them and will never request them.
Your trading funds are held with your own chosen broker, not with Botomout. The safety of those funds depends on your broker's own solvency, regulatory status and operational integrity, which are outside our control. We recommend using a reputable, appropriately regulated broker and reviewing its own terms and risk disclosures.
Any backtested, simulated, or illustrative performance figures shown on this site or in our materials are hypothetical: they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight and do not reflect actual trading, the impact of real-world slippage/liquidity constraints, or any specific client's results. Past performance, whether live or backtested, is not indicative of, and does not guarantee, future results.
Our products may not be suitable for every investor. You should carefully consider your financial situation, experience, and risk tolerance before using them, and should not treat any Content as personalized advice — see Section 10 of our Terms of Service.
You are solely responsible for: configuring the EA's risk settings appropriately for your own risk tolerance and account size; monitoring your account and trading activity; and every trading decision made on your account, whether made directly by you or, under a Trading Partnership, delegated to us within the scope you authorized.
If you do not fully understand these risks, we strongly recommend seeking advice from an independent, appropriately licensed financial adviser before proceeding.
